Which is exactly why it is correct. The only time peoples' would be acceptable is in the case of talking about specific groups. The British and German peoples' language are not the same.

I think this is the right thread to post my weekend demotivator. My mother-in-law's kitchen floor boards had rotted out from a leaking pipe under the kitchen sink. Turned out that not just the floor boards were rotted. I ended up pulling all of the beams and essentially rebuilding the entire kitchen floor. So, I tore it down to this.........

Different situations. The helicopter crash was shown as it actually happened and the story indicates no one was killed. The gif was reversed to create humor from what had to be a fatality. I'm sure the guy was dead as soon as the 230,000 volts went to ground through his body. Maybe I'm more sensitive to it being that I've worked in the electric industry for the last 28 years. I've seen more than my share of what electricity can do to the human body. Yeah, the guy was a dumbass for climbing the tower and he got what was coming to him, I just don't see it as humorous.

Saw that on reddit. A couple things. Lady was in the left lane for a long time (claims she was making a left soon and there were trucks in the other lane). Goes both ways though. If someone is in the left lane and doing say 80 in a 70 to pass someone, or a line of someone's, riding their ass and flashing your high beams isn't going to speed it up and often slows it down..and then you fuck up everyone else's trip.

Mind explaining what was happening? A struggle between the solid and liquid stage? What would be causing that?

About the only thing I saw that was pretty cool was my supercooled bottle of water, that as soon as I cracked open the cap, the entire thing just turned into a solid piece of ice.

Alex can probably explain it much better but essentially the triple point is temperature & pressure at which a substance is in all three phases (gas/liquid/solid).

ah. class warfare at its finest. nice to know that our justice system is truly incompetent, and that it has given proof-positive that being a celebrity or filthy rich insures you will not be subject to the same laws as common folk.

Absolutely unreal. While I agree that putting him in jail likely doesn't make him a better person or fix his issue, letting him go on probation accomplishes even less. Should've at least put him into some kind of mental health facility. Something.
