We had an M1 that complete rolled over onto it's top during field exercise. We took two Hercules 88's, picked it up with cables and spun it back right side up in mid air. You can't just grab a side on these tanks and roll it over as it would break all of the torsion bars on that one side

lol, nice...i was the yahoo on the bulldozer (MOS 62E) in the background for 5 years. These tank guys would call us since we were close by, after digging them defilade positions, but i can almost guarantee even our little 30k winch with a snatch block wouldnt have moved that beast :D

This is the exact answer! I learned this the hard way when I first did enduros and motocross. You can fly through the air for an eternity if you land on a down hill slope (especially in enduros). Land on flat ground after being even 4' in the air and you'll pay dearly! :lol:

We dropped quick and far but the landing was smooth. I broke a YZ frame trying to land on flat jumps. good times

While the snowmobile thing was impressive it wasn't as impressive as landing correctly on a landing ramp. The whole jump was down his landing ramp. As everyone knows you have a landing ramp to reduce landing impact. You miss it you're fucked.

Oh yeah, I LOVE going off big hangers. Where we do a lot of our riding there are designed areas to drop off and free fall for 30'+. It's the easiest thing in the world to do and the landing is so easy to absorb. It's just terrifying when you first start out. You're never more than a few feet off the ground but you are in the air for a LONG time. :lmao:

I have had my share of crashes and I will say flat landings are the scariest ones for me. If I can tell I'm losing it and am going to be hitting a tree it's unpleasant. When I am in the air and realize I fucked up timing/distance and am going to land flat I start cry like a baby knowing what's about to happen. :lol:

I never got into very large jumps with my quad or dirtbike. I mainly landed on flats and didn't go much higher than 15ft.

Now skiing, I started to get into some big jumps a couple years ago, landing on the downhill part of the headwall. I remember the first time I tried to do a double jump, wanted to make sure I had enough speed to clear the gap... overshot the landing, and while in the air, you just say "shit, shit, shit". It sucks when you are in the air, and you clearly know you overshot it.

Also happened to me doing a big jump, landing was great, but definitely hit it faster than I planned. I'd say I was about 25' in the air and went a distance of about 75'. I haven't come close to that since. Was over half way down the landing. I'm sure other have done bigger, but when in the air that long, it gives you plenty of time to regret being that high in the air.

20+ years ago I had an 81 KX250 that I swear was the machine of death... I don't know anyone that ever rode that thing that didn't pay dearly for the experiance.... :lol:

Or under shoot it, I came up short one time on a real steep one. The jump would shoot you pretty high and you had to lock the rear wheel to pull the front down. I came up short and hit the front wheel on the lip. It bounced the front out then the rear hit and bounced me almost over the handle bars. I pretty much went down the ramp on the front wheel and crashed at the bottom. I didn’t really get hurt but it scared the shit out of me. lol

So, I just watched the most demotivating movie on the face of the planet. Shit's called 200 MPH. If anyone thought The Fast and the Furious was bad, trust me when I say this is WAY worse. I mean WAAAAAY worse.

First off, the description says the kid has to fix up his old Datsun 280Z to race and it ends up being either a RX-7 or 370Z, I don't know which one it was suppose to be because the story line was so completely jacked. He drives a green RX-7 for awhile and when they do animated drift scenes it turns into a S-14. These animated scenes are suppose to look real life, but whoever was working the mouse that day definitely did a terrible job at it. Oh, and absolutely outrageous acting, effin terrible.
