I think 450 torque at 3500 caused the stock rods to fail. All the other high hp,stock shortblock cars seem to make torque a lot later. Except eric's somehow, which looks so high and early it seems impossible, but his block was brand new.

I'm all against Xbox one just like most everyone else, But look at the image more closely. yeah there is a computer under there but the monitor above clearly shows it running Win 7. So unless they were running Xbox VM's on those machine I don't think this rumor is true. They may be running VM's I just thought I would point it out.

I've had an unbelievable number of close calls, but never had one jump over my car.

The only one I ever hit fell right out of the sky...seemingly.

He'd actually jumped off about a ten-foot high plowed bank coming across the bay here at about 0300.

When I was travelling on state business, it was like a slalom at times - once, in one 19-mile stretch I travelled regularly, I counted 48 deer in the roadway, on the pavement - there were at least three times that many more between the road and the tree-line. :)

They know I swear, they know when and where they can get shot at. That's why you see them in town when hunting season starts. When I worked at Oak Ridge National Lab there was a lot of wooded land and it rarely got hunted. I couldn’t believe all the wildlife that didn’t give a crap if you were there or not. They knew they were protected there. One day I sat there about 40’ away from 15 deer. They barely acknowledged me. If I’m out in the woods hunting they stay 1000’ away and if I step on a twig they run like hell lol.

E3 "demos" running on PCs is a long standing thing. If you recall Halo2's E3 "gameplay" demo, it wasn't real. They couldn't pull it off on the XBOX hardware, so they did it on a PC and had someone look like he was playing. Don't forget, these games may be made for consoles, but they are made on PCs so it's not too much more work to run it on a VM or similar to have a "playable demo" especially given that the new console launches in November, demos for playtesting and such were probably done months ago (or even a year ago) so they may have even had to do market testing or in house testing on PCs if they didn't have enough Xbox1 kits to work with.

I have 2800 acres of wild water treatment facility I have to keep an eye on, and we've turned it into a bit of a wildlife preserve.

I am constantly amazed at the wildlife on display and the fact they will, by-and-large, conduct their business as if I'm not there.

I've literally driven around corners and come upon four wolves standing next to the road, five feet from my truck, looking at me like union workers on a smoke-break wondering wtf I'M doing there.

Deer, geese, bear, moose, baldies, coyotes, wolves, turkeys, cranes...we got it all. :)

It's a croc not a gator and it's not shopped. It was taken in Darwin, Australia from memory. He is well known due to the missing limb. Crocs feed in water usually and spend a lot of time in the water. They only go on land to warm up usually.
