Decided that I am going to install AWS into the car. Got the rear pump rebuild kit coming from Japan land in 50 days. Going to ask Jim about the seals in the rear rack as far as sourcing them. It will be like a brand new AWS system once I am done. I need to get a hold of the 4 lines that run to the rear of the car. Going to have everything powder coated. How well would a coating of Rhino liner protect the steel hard lines for the AWS system?

    Isn't Dave like 6'8"?
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

Wouldn't think of trying it, myself.

Almost the second-coolest thing about your car, after the motor.

Barrel Plating Clear Zinc FTW!! I got 50lbs done a few years back for like $80. Pretty much every bolt in the engine bay and some misc brackets.

Definitely close. And he crammed in behind FamilyMAN, which must've made working that clutch pedal hard

We added about 430 pounds to the usual weight the car is moving. Still luridly fast. When I get home tonight or tomorrow I'll upload the videos.

Debated a tumbler to clean everything up before sending off to plating

Can you PM me details on who you used? The local places in TN I found flaked out on it, still very much on my to do list

Here is the company I used: United Metal Finishing, Inc. » Surface Treatments ? Electroplating ? Anodizing

They can be a little bit of a pain as they usually deal only on commercial stuff. They wanted me to set up an account and draft the money from my bank. Took a bit but I finally convinced them to take a check. Filled a large flat rate box full of hardware I cleaned in the blasting cabinet "Which took forever to blast a bunch of nuts and bolts".
