Are you going to be there? Would love to see your car out in front of me, just to see if you can shake me. Then we can turn the table and see what happens. LOL.
If you can shake me, I'll buy the beer. If I shake you, you pick up the tab. Again, more laughs. You have AWD, I have no turbo lag. Should be fun. Better ice down those side mounts.

lol, these are the shenanigans i'm looking forward to.

but i've gotta question: say i bring a friend. a non 3s driving friend. does he have to pay what everyone else pays? is it 120 per head, or 120 per 3s junkie?

Your friend would be a guest. Check the mega thread in the national forum for the price for a guest.

I believe a guest can pay for autocross and drags. But that's it. A guest can not run the road course as far as I know. Those fees are for insurances. So no raod course for guests. That's the way it has been in the past.
So $120 gets you registered into all the events as spectater and to show your car and to include banquit. Your guest (last year) $50.00 can attend with you all events and banquit . An additional $120.00 for road course, for registrent only, and than addtional fees for drag and autocross for you and guest if they wish to drive. Have not registered myself yet this year so have not looked at autocross and drag fees. They were like $45.00 each event last year.

Yes I have every Intention of being there this year with the STL3S crew in Tow!!! Damn that sounds like a pretty good deal to me...Shit this would be my first road course but hell... I was born to drive lol... And the tab.. Sounds like a damn good plan to me.. Don't worry, I'm a light weight haha.

I missed the autocross last year as My car broke the day before we left for Indy. So I brought my broken ass car to indy and repaired it there in the parking lot.
I was lucky though as I was mostly going for the road course. I don't like to drag the car as I brake a trans each and every year I do so. Spit the trans out again at TX gathering again this year.
I only drag race to keep the trophies. I am with out a trans at this moment and hope to get an other one soon. I've no LSD so traction is a loosing battle no matter what I am doing with the car.
Through the turns on the road course last year, I had mage tire spin at 60 MPH in the turns. Heres a few more number you can play with.
    1ST place NA dyno - TX gathering 2010 - 229 FWHP
    1st place Fastest NA - TXG 2010 - 98.3 trap
    1st Place quickest NA - TXG 2010 - 14.680
    2ND place 1/4 at NG10
best NA time NG10 - 14.932- no traction
    2ND place 1/4 at NG09
    2ND place Autocross NG09

That auto cross we did was with NO Trans lube. LOL. Bone dry to the spider tooth that punched a hole in the case.
This year put an entire spyder through the case. Grrrrr. You know Duttch is not far from you. And I used to live on first street in Santee, just pasted the high school.
Built a few Baja bugs while there. Used to be a drivin along the highway when I was there. I'm looking foreward to the competition for sure.
