I have a bed open in my room, it would really help me out if someone split the room with me...

Since I basically missed all of NG11 due to my wife's car accident, maybe you can tell me how the drive around the brickyard went.

How is your wife (and daughter, right)?

I can't offer anything on the pace lap as I was not present...

Wife is basically OK. She went back to work this week. Daughter is still recouperating. Her back injury seems to be healing properly. She still has pain and is in a back brace. Her knee has been swollen since the accident and it was never x-rayed in the emergency room. During her check up with the orthopedic doctor today he said her knee is broken. It is a rare type of break and requires treatment from a sports medicine specialist. He recommended we go to Rush Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago (we live nearer to Chicago than Indy) to see a specialist. Our insurances are going to be digging deep to pay for her injuries. The driver that caused the accident apparently had the state minimum insurance and no assets. My insurance company will probably be sued for the under insured motorist coverage that I carry by my daughter and the medical insurance company (her husband's policy).

On the bright side, I got a decent settlement on the car. The negative is that new and used cars are so darn expensive. I think I am going to buy a 2006 model year of the same car we had (2003 Audi A6 that we originally bought as a used car in 2007). Anything newer is way more than I want to spend.

I also decided my insurance medical coverage was too low. I raised it from $5,000 per individual to $50,000 per individual. My liability I kept at $100,000/$300,000.
