Pete or Levi, did the track even verify the helmet types last year?? I don't think they did... I'll still verify with them, though.

I don't recall the track doing any inspection on my car or saftety equipment last year.

The only time they started to give us grief was during the drag races where they were insisting upon roll cage requirements for ceratain cars.

They didn't even look at my helmet, just made sure I had one.

But you're not cool if you're not doing oil changes in the parking lot.....Or brake changes at 1am...

If things go smoothly the only parking lot activities I will be involved in include hanging out, relaxing, checking out other cars, oversized drunken jenga, etc.

seems like everybody that tries to do an oil change at NG runs into some sort of problem. something about being in a parking lot turns a 3 minute job into a 30 minute ordeal that ends in a rage attack.

i tried to drain a 6qt oil pan into two milk jugs because i was too cheap to buy a $5 drain pan. "i'll just put the drain plug back in once it gets near the top." wrong. so angry i ripped my shirt to shreds and used it to soak up the oil.

Alright, Von... Enough with the negativity. We know things went wrong last year, and we know they're trying to make up for it. Let's give them the opportunity and hope that it means things will go better. There's been a HUGE turnover there... I think we'll be better this year.
