After working on my car and helping relatives move on Friday, then helping them move yesterday, I woke up this morning feeling like I was at the gym all day. I also helped them move some more stuff today. I bet I lost 5 pounds even though they kept me fed well for helping them.

I bought myself a bicycle yesterday. Then rode it about 7 miles in 35 minutes. I don't remember the seat hurting as much as a child.

We follow the earth. The earth follows the stars. The stars know their way and though the body dies. The stars will remain, like the waves of the sea and restless slate.

I haven't put it on the bike yet but darn those little skinny seats.
I usually end up stopping sooner then I could because I can't stand sitting on the bike any longer.

yeah, they make some really nice bike seats now a days. i prefer the spring-loaded ones myself. i'm also trying to get a pair of loopwheels when they become available. they're like a bike wheel with an integral suspension.

wife dragged me out for a 12.5 mile run. finished in 2:59. words cannot describe how sore the bottom of my feet are.

    That's damn fine, 7 mos post-op.
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

Had an excellent workout today. First really good one that I've had in a while....and I mean that by not wanting to throw up by the end.

Rest it a few days and see how it feels.

I haven't thrown up yet, but most often I want to. Also, Karen, I did get my bike out and my hubby was kind enough to pump the tires. First ride tomorrow. And I already had the wider seat. No pun.
