July 2014 COTMWe follow the earth. The earth follows the stars. The stars know their way and though the body dies. The stars will remain, like the waves of the sea and restless slate.
So some progress has been made. I am really starting to feel a lot better lately and I am sleeping more soundly as well. I have been drinking less soda/pop and I have also stopped drinking any soda/pop in the evening. After lunch, I don't drink any soda/pop. I have decreased my intake of caffeine in pop as well. If I get pop, I try to get pop/soda that has the least sugar and no caffeine at all.
I have gotten myself back on track in terms of eating habits I think. If I don't eat breakfast in the morning, at lunch, I usually eat a decent lunch, nothing huge. I have been eating dinner earlier, usually around 5:30, right when I get home from work and on the weekends I eat dinner around 4PM. If I do eat later, I eat leftovers and have smaller portions. So far, it is helping greatly and I don't feel as tired in the morning. I am also taking my Vitamin D3, Fish Oil, and Magnesium supplements as directed by my doctor and I have felt a difference.
So I guess my only suggestion for anyone looking to get into a weight loss regimen or to get healthier, working out doesn't cut it completely, you need to see your physician first. They can provide some tips and some methods to keep your body healthy while getting into a regimen. Going in to it cold turkey sometimes can harm you more. Just take care of yourself first and go from there.

Ate my first hamburger in months while in MD with Chris this past week. Wasn't as tasty as I hoped it would be. My salad was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much yummier. We have decided our scale is broken at home, so I have to wait til we go back to the pool to weigh myself. I stopped when the one at home said I'd gained almost 6 lbs in a week. Talk about depressing.....Luckily, I knew I hadn't so I just stopped using it. I look forward to taking it outside and smashing it!!!
In my quest to find healthier foods I just indulged in dipping fresh strawberries in fat free chocolate pudding.
Around 110 calories and is was REALLY yummy!
