A lot of bowl projections have UT vs. Johnny, as of now.

Horns down! If you can't get more than 8 wins with the recruiting you have mac should be run out of town.

Cmon you had way to close a game with Kansas and Baylor and Oklahoma stomped you in the dirt. You should be 9-3 this season but a slight breeze and you are 7-5...

Big 12 is tough this year no doubt, it can contend with the SEC I think.
real 3s'ers have NoCar transfer cases...

I saw that this morning too and frankly, I've kind of been hoping for it. Texas has basically zero to gain from the match-up, it's aggy's wet dream, but it will be a game to get excited for.

Woah, woah, woah. Are you trying to say that Texas has done the least with the most and we had to convert 4th downs on the final drive to beat Oklahoma State and Kansas? No wai?

I think Texas can go 10-3 (currently 7-2) because we've drastically altered our defensive play calling, particularly along the d-line. The last 3 quarters, even per the players, has been very simplified. The d-line is playing straight-up damn near every snap instead of stunting or slanting. Sure, we're still blitz happy, but our defense has gone from the bottom quarter of college football to the middle, perhaps even above average. If we got 10-3, Mack might call it his rebuilding effort complete and retire. We need a head coach that can handle the OU match-up because Stoops is going to be there for a while... Mack sticking around in this Bowden-fashion is just going to prevent us from easily replacing Manny Diaz... All OU has to do to recruits is play the Texas game highlights from the last 2 seasons.

If you go 10-3, Mack definitely doesn't go anywhere. He's gonna be there for a while, IMO.

With OSU down to their 3rd string QB, you gotta be liking your chances at finishing 3-1 (8-4, 5-4), right? Although OSU's system is kind of shockingly indifferent to the QB. If Texas slips up against ISU or TCU (putting the K-state game in the loss column), you guys of course hold the tie breaker over us...

Until Geno gets out of his own head, I have confidence that we will beat Kansas. The defense shored up pretty well in the bye week, but the offense remains a problem. It's all Geno on that front. He is telegraphing passes, and not going through ANY progressions. I've never seen him do this; I just don't get it. As Holgorsen said in his presser after TCU, "Geno was as bad as he's been since he's been here". Our o-line is still only playing at 75%. And our kicking game is atrocious, again.

This year is a huge bust. I've already given up, and am looking to the future to see what Dana can do with his own recruits.

A confounding twist considering Geno all but had the Heisman trophy in his hands four weeks ago.
