Edit: saw your later post. Does it run for >5sec intervals?

I let it idle for about 5 minutes last night before I had to leave the garage.

Plan for tonight is to back it into the driveway, clean it and the garage, drive it around the block, make sure nothing is leaking or wrong... Then, I guess, the next step is to prep it for inspection (read: install front wipers and dump in E85) so that I can legally drive it to my buddy's shop to weld loops on the roll bar for my harnesses.

drove the 92 to work for the first time since about June/July, no problems other than I have the base ignition timing a bit advanced. Going to dial that back a bit.

    Good move, and good-looking install.

Yeah, I've made that rather hard, haven't I...

Anyway, yeah, it's the same engine... Original. It's never been out of the bay.

That said... I took it for a spin last night. Took it around the block, checked it for leaks, issues, etc and all was good.

...So I turned the EBC down to 0 and made a pull on the super old 93 octane in the tank. ~13 psi, 0 knock... Wow, heh, it's been a while. Changed the "set" from "0" to "20" and still hit 13 psi. I pulled into a parking lot to check the car for leaks and all was well, so I changed the set to "40", and hit 19.6 psi. Obviously it was very strong, I can only assume 480+ AWHP based on the car's past performance. Ha, man it pulls violently. I may be getting too old because it was a little scary. I think I saw a "2" pop up on the scanmaster (haven't set up my logger) and felt a little hesitation around 5500 rpm. I assumed it was light spark plug blow out. I gave it one more rip in 2nd gear before taking it easy the last couple miles before I got home.

Pulled it into the garage, turned the engine off, and hopped out to give it one final look for leaks. There was a small puddle of coolant and the overflow was full. Hmmm. If I did lift the heads, it's about time and it probably didn't happen on this drive. I didn't replace the coolant, so I'll do that today or tomorrow and toss on a new cap. If it is pushing, I'll just turn the timing down and give her one last hurrah on pump gas at the gathering. My 6G74 crank and future block are sitting in the corner of the garage waiting.

lol pretty cool, it looks like you have a raised hood because of the building reflecting off the paint.
