Classified Verification Overkill

I filled out the required seller information when I registered (phone number, address, DOB). My trader rating on 3Si confirms that I'm legit. I'm also a Classifieds moderator on SoCal3S, and a moderator on 3S Forums. Even became a "paid" member here.

What more proof do you actually need for me to sell used parts on a car forum? At what point does reputation doesn't matter? Proof of ID can be falsified...

In the meanwhile, I joined the "Unverified" group...

This isn't 3si or some other website. When will people learn that? Hell I had a 150 trader rating with 170 positive feedback on 3si and I have 100% rating on ebay with 60 positive feedback. Alan can't go checking everyones reputation on other sites to get them verified. Whats asked for is a simple request. If you think it too difficult or don't want to post said info, then its not Alan's fault.

Alan can't go checking everyones reputation on other sites to get them verified. Whats asked for is a simple request. I see you're still bringing the same b.s. atitude from 3Si. Kids say the darnest things! Good thing we don't have a rep system here, or you'd try to neg rep me a couple of times over things that don't concern you, like you did on 3Si!

In any event, Alan created the "Unverified" group, which allows for members to post in the Sales section, without having to provide a bunch of personal information, copies of iD, etc. Thanks for that Alan! Hope this place doesn't turn into a "drama fest" so commonly seen on 3Si!

What do people do that have DL address' that don't match their Bills? I'm in that boat. My DL has my parents address, but my bills come to my home. Would this technicality prevent us from being a verified seller?

I'd like to know where there is drama and attitude in my post. I posted simple facts. If you took offense to it then maybe it was because I made a point. I haven't asked for special permissions because of what I've done on other sites and neither should anyone else. Thats all I said.

Use your military id. (blank anything you can't share) That will prove your military and I understand that issue.

heck, i work down the street from benson. he's actually the one who helped me figure out i have a bad wheel bearing. i fricking flew with him on a training sortie a few weeks ago. guess that's not enough though.

i'll see if i can find a scanner. $$^#$%#$ technology....
