heck, i work down the street from benson. he's actually the one who helped me figure out i have a bad wheel bearing. i fricking flew with him on a training sortie a few weeks ago. guess that's not enough though.

ok, new beef with this setup:

i'm not verified. whatever, fine. what i did notice is that SMALLZ is verified. seriously. mr. "i'm going to buy big tyla's fwd-tt & not pay him for it" is a f**king verified seller.

is this a joke? the whole point of a new verification system is to prevent scammers & low lifes. the forum hasn't even been open for business a month--and you've already sanctioned a known low-life. i don't care if he IS a paid member--so am i; and i'm not verified, even though i've NEVER had any negative feedback.

Verification is address verification. He provided the information which means he gets verified.

why a pm? the damn customer review was public. i really ought to post it here so that everyone can be warned, but in keeping with YOUR wishes, i'll pm it to you.

if all that is verified is the address, it should say so. currently it makes unverified members look sketchy--regardless of buyer/seller quality; while it makes verified people look reputable, which in this case--is clearly NOT the case. that's the only issue i have with how it's set up (other than my personal issue with smallz, aka lil john)

1) I did not want to clutter this thread of make a new thread for this.

Hate to say it, but, I agree 100%. The 'verification' has zero teeth for preventing any sale going bad while using verbage that makes it 'seem' otherwise. Falsely sense of some security or assurance that actually means zip legally.

Rather ridiculous IMO.

And over-restrictive yet allows known bad sellers to participate here. Great combination.
