Today... I wished mine was on the road instead of that bloody Soarer, if it's shit persists ant further it's going to go up for sale to buy another 3/S.
but if you did that, steve would have one less venue open to him; because, in his own words, "he wouldn't be a pioneer". never mind that your car will cost way less and be way faster--it's more important for steve to go off the beaten trail.
p.s.
my $.02 is to buy a 99 base or 96 stealth base as a dd.![]()
heres what i did yesterday, not bad considering the interior and doors were fully intact and only spent 3 hours on it.

1991 GTO TT restoration in progress
watch the progress from the start:

Installed new air filter, sounds pretty badass. Need to adjust idle, install transfer case bracket, install HHH datalogger, and valve seals and lifters still on the to do list.
The sound combo of the intake, turbos, and exhaust is just sex!
Now I just need a beefy BOV
Put the finishing touches on the main wiring junction box I relocated yesterday. Also swapped the airbag out with a false cover and converted it into a J-Box cavity. I'm going to use it to cram all the modules in the drivers side and passenger side kick panels to make more leg room.
Still need to fab a plenum back in to reconnect the main blower fan to the main heat distribution core. I removed the A/C core and the box entirely and figured it would just be easier to make something. I may not come back with the 5hp denso heater blower motor. I think I may swap it out for a spal or setrab and just run fresh air defrost louvers (undecidied at the moment. I removed roughly 8lbs of wire and 2 lbs of electrcal tape in the process as well as another 40lbs or so (getting lighter everytime I work on it, probably roughly 3200lbs at the moment).
Getting the main J-box wiring and charging system relocated was huge upgrade for me. I'm guessing I can service the fuel filter in about 5 minutes now and probably drop the trans in an hour or less with all that crap out of the way. Things are right on schedule for completion by May 1st. Seats get templated and go in next.
A/C lines, core, and plenum removed
Final mounting orientation and 1/2 way thru cutback an rewire
Finished with fabricating support bracket and testing all leads, car fires right up
Final look when I re-mount glovebox
Finished most everything up and then fired the car. Sounded perfect, not one problem with the wiring.
