17 shouldn't be near enough to run out of fuel like that. Times like these and a fuel pressure gauge is handy.

FWIW at 16 PSI I only make about 450AWHP on my setup.

Speaking of steering....There's a true manual DSM steering rack hiding under there now. Need to get it to my buddy's so he can align it. Will post details after I confirm we can get it aligned. Also need to pull steering wheel, set clockspring and recenter steering wheel. I botched up the centering of the steering rack on installation so my steering wheel centering is way off.

How do you like the manual rack?

Then again, depends on size of injectors and stuff as to whether he's running out of fuel or not. The pump shouldn't be, but it is possible there are other restrictions in the fuel system. Agree with having a fuel pressure gauge to reference as well.

Possibility the o-ring may be nicked on the pump pick up? Injectors too small? Fuel filter getting clogged? Variety of other possibilities.

Paul, are you familiar with how to log for your Chrome ECU? If not, one of us can probably walk you through it pretty easy. Alternatively, next day we're both free I can head there to show you (and bring the powder coat gun.)

No idea yet. Haven't driven it I drove all summer with a power rack without power. Wasn't too bad so this should work even better.

Good to see you got off the couch and into the garage!

Nice. I've got a manual rack in mine now too. Lots of turns lock to lock but it seems MUCH MUCH easier than a de-powered rack.

Yeah finally made it there for a bit. Going out of town Thursday (pond hockey tournament!!) so maybe next week i'll finish up the passenger side arm and maybe even get to the drivers side. Drivers side should be easy as it'll be a mirror image of something i've already made.

Welder arrives tomorrow. Very excited but no time to do anything this week unfortunately. Calculus test Friday, mom in town Sunday and then physics test early next week. Going to try to get some shit done though if I can.

Few surprises coming down the pipe that I'm keeping relatively under wraps as far as the car.

550cc injectors, I wasn't watching the wideband but I did get 6 counts of knock. I'm thinking I need to upgrade the pump anyway.

Oh and my computer I use to log is f-ed up. I need to try and get it fixed. My new lap top runs winblows 8.1 and I'm pretty sure the Evo Scan wont run on it.

Will support up to 600+WHP when supplied with appropriate voltage.
The pump is hotwired so I guess I just need to work on the tune.
