I rent, so don't want to do anything like that. Landlord is a bit of a stickler.

I'm leaning towards going that route, but may just deal with having to use the pull chain. Don't like the idea of using a system that is supposed to be grounded in that fashion though.

Wouldn't be terribly necessary but when they built it, they put the freaking lightbulb right behind where they mounted the garage door opener...so half the garage gets little to no light.

I have the fixtures hanging from the garage door tracks ATM.

FWIW, I have had a few 3 prong plugs where I literally snapped the 3rd prong off, both on purpose, and on accident and still used it with no issue.

I have had 4 fluorescent lights connected in the garage using a light socket adapter with a 3>2 prong adapter for the last 6 years or so. Always planned on wiring them in correctly but it worked without issue.

If the lights are high enough where you can't reach and touch them its not much of an issue. If your lights are on GFI (not common) or you can put them on a gfi circuit it's completely up to code. Some really old florescent lights needed a ground to light properly but other than that the ground won't affect lighting, its mostly to protect you.

    Also you can buy these

The tip is statin black; that's subtle right? I'll work on something more subtle at some point but want to hear each blip blop for now.

Speaking of steering....There's a true manual DSM steering rack hiding under there now. Need to get it to my buddy's so he can align it. Will post details after I confirm we can get it aligned. Also need to pull steering wheel, set clockspring and recenter steering wheel. I botched up the centering of the steering rack on installation so my steering wheel centering is way off.

Well I hit 17psi today in the cold any I don't think I have enough fuel pump. I'm running 19hls, pretty sure the walbro is running lean.

If so, should be showing up either on your wideband gauge or in your logs. A 255 Walbro should support 500awhp pretty comfortably before being tapped out. Even with the 19T HLs, not sure how close you are to that yet at 17psi. I'd look at AFR to see if it's happening or not and make sure that it's not IDCs that are running out. If the 255 really is tapped out, upgrade to the 416.

I'm guessing your running out of flow. as Sergechronos said check your IDC's, if they are high then bump your base fuel pressure up some and adjust your tune. that should give you more fuel to work with without needing to change out your pump. On my 10: engine I pumped my base fuel up to like 55 psi so my 360cc injectors could flow up to 450cc when I needed the extra fuel.
