Looked at mine and realized how terrible it looks and that I need to get gravel for the driveway so I can get started on it.
[06-05, 19:29] OhioSpyderman: Brian, finding a woman is NOT the answer, you need to shop for a good VACUUM
siphoned out 15+ gallons of gas.
....i should have used a larger siphon. it took an hour and a half or so.
Mods: 2g 3k body conversion, 2g Brake upgrade, Rota P45R rims
Projects: Interior sound deadening, 14Bs, forged bottom end, custom radiator and sound mounts
I didn't feel confident using the drain plug without making a mess; I don't have a good way to swap between cans without killing flow.
I also didn't realize there was so much gas in the car - I thought that at most it had 8-10 gallons in it. It's been a while since I've touched the thing.
That's what she said.
Also, just for giggles
Td05 vs TD04L turbine wheels.
My truck is overflowing with parts that I need to take to the machine shop tomorrow..block, rods and pistons. A spare crank to turn. Will be taking my mint crank there next week or so. And maybe even my whole spare short block.
Also need to get the new manifolds and turbine housings blasted, cleaned up and ceramic coated eventually..so need to start shopping places locally.
Hope to have my AN waterneck done before long, should be interesting.
