I give him 2 years in the NFL...year 2 being backup to tim tebow.

Ranked No. #1 in initial quality
Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.
he was pretty damn good at Ala. not lights out but a standout for sure. given the competition that he faced I'd say that put him above most.

Meh, I think Manziel is more of an athlete than a QB. I just don't get the feeling that he can read an NFL defense, and while he can scramble and make things happen for sure, he lacks the size and strength to shake off attempted tackles and sacks like a Newton or Roethlisberger. Will certainly be interesting to see how it shakes out, I personally don't think he'll amount to much in the NFL. But I've been wrong before (like when I said that Newton would never be able to get the Panthers into the play offs because he couldn't read a defense or a playbook.)

He's shaken many would be tacklers at the college level. 6'0" and 207 is plenty big enough to so. And those ridiculous hands...9&7/8" is absurd for that height. I can't view him as an athlete. He's not fluid enough to play anywhere other than qb.
Bortles has that prototypical NFL QB frame, which is why he went early, and Manziel and Bridgewater sat.
Jeremy
the browns will get manziel hurt. bad place to be a scrambler... the offensive line is still wet toilet paper... linebackers smell blood...
real 3s'ers have NoCar transfer cases...
Until I see otherwise, all the Browns do is end the careers of QB's. Good luck dude.
Thank goodness Michael Sam went so late or the talking heads wouldn't have had much else to talk about other than Texas not having a single player drafted... 1st time since 1937, and that was apparently the longest streak in college football. I've been saying for a long time I wouldn't draft Mike Davis (WR), but I thought he was universally projected a mid-late rounder. He signed with Oakland, ha.
B12 defensive player of the year Jackson Jeffcoat didn't even get picked up. He had two peck injuries during his time at Texas, so all he needs to do is add strength and a little finesse to his pass rush. Seattle signed him as a free agent, so that was a high value pick-up for them IMO.

If Mike Davis ties to pull some of the crap he did last season in the NFL I look for him to get leveled by some LB looking for revenge.
