edit: turns out there was a Murano with a Maybach emblem wedged into it that just so happens to be missing on Spikes car. I guess that would be cause for release. hit and run is a felony.

Last I read, they were trying to possibly tie him to a hit and run of a Nissan Murano. Said they were rear ended nearby by an unknown vehicle that fled. A Maybach damn sure stands out in a crowd though..
