What did you do today to your 3/S?

Which ones? I have the S1 coilovers and love them. I wish the rebound could be more adjustable for the firmer settings because it can get slightly bouncy on bumps but otherwise I love them. The ride is very similar to sport ECS mode.

Spent some time working with AutoCAD laying out the basic design for the SMIC I'm building. Waiting for some other programs to finish downloading as well so I can do a 3D model and check fluid flow based on end tanks and see what I can come up with within the space and budgetary constraints.

Also worked on trying to clean the paint off of some lexan lenses I had laying around. The interior paint was cracking and chipped off in some places, so i figured I'd get it all off, then robo mod and reassemble the headlights. So far best I've heard is Graffitti Remover to get it off.

Also have to order some type of modeling clay material for doing some custom fiberglass work, just not sure what would work without having too much shrinkage as it dries.

You could get some Klean Klay. It is commonly used for expanding foam mold making as it does not stick ot the mold foam and does not dry.

Thanks for the tip, I already ordered some Sculpey III (they also suggested some at the suggestion of an artistic friend who makes a lot of models. So I'll give it a shot, and if it doesn't work out then I'll try the Klean Klay alternatives.

A quick google search shows that apparently Klean Klay was discontinued? There are alternatives out there though that may bear looking into.

Edit: vibration dampener/thermal barrier and butyl rope arrived today

Bought 2nd hand 3sx downpipe. Now my bolt on upgrades are complete. Just need a tune now (after installing downpipe, hks twin spark and id725 injectors).

They originally had black springs on them but John fitted a 12kg spring from a local supplier that is pictured (red). The set he is sending me should be the stock black 10kg ones. Can't remember the rear one. Either way a local shop (Pedders) makes various springs that fit these.

Spent some time messing with the headlight project I'm working on..2 pounds of clay wasn't remotely enough

Going to get some expanding foam to fill all the negative space and rough sculpt with, then lay the clay over the top to get a better final product. Contemplating going to an HID low beam set up, as well as doing a more permanent mounting..The brackets from the factory are pretty bulky and ruining my smooth lines.

Finally got my front outer tie rod ends and ball joints replaced. Washed it yesterday and drove it today to enjoy the gorgeous weather we're having.
