    That's what I asked.

No, apparently PA doesn't issue temp tags to buyers of vehicles. Only sellers. Meaning, I have to get Jason to meet me at one of the DE DMV stations, pay the $20 something fee for a DE temp tag and then I can drive the car... In other words, fuck that.

Had a similar problem when I had to get emissions tested but didn't have a valid tag to drive the car there. Our process is you must go to DMV and get a permit to move the car (it's good for a day!) and then you can get the test results and submit your registration.

I didn't bother with the permit and luckily she passed first time (had Chrome in there with all the warning CELs disabled)

Got the car registered. Instead of doing it as a "restoration" vehicle. We just did it as a classic car. Didn't need the stupid pics for that. Just a picture of the vin sticker on the door way.

Won't be able to drive it till I get the plates though but supposedly that only takes a week.

Oh and another minor detail just got done today. The car came with 2 original keys (which isn't normal) and 2 spare plus one broken remote.

I had aquired a brand new OEM remote some time ago from somewhere I can't remember anymore along with a Toni clear key!

Got that cut along with the remote programmed.

    Can't wait to start driving!

    Yes! Took 30 seconds.

Oh and now I can finally pick up where I left off with chrome and get the finishing touches on the next version which people keep spamming my inbox about.

    I gave one for you!

My most wanted feature at the moment is a "master warning" buzzer. I don't know why guys bother putting 10 gauges in there car, I can't even watch oil, wideband, and boost at the same time.

So I have been pondering building a sub box for the car since the amp is equipped to handle it. I've heard this stereo in an EVO and it sounded great so I think it would be worth while. After a little research, I found this is the sub most people prefer with their stock systems when the stock sub goes out.

Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: Polk Audio db840 8-Inch Single Voice Coil Subwoofer (Single, Black)

I'm not looking for something that will shake the car apart nor do I have any desire to wire in another amp just for a sub. The great thing about this one is I can just hook it into the + and - outs on the montero amp and its done.

I'm feeling confident in my skills to build a custom sub box. Start off first by making one from card board just to get a general idea of shape and size. Ideally it'll fit in the trunk pointing up wards and not interfere with the spare tire. Audio experts will probably argue with me over this but that's okay. The OEM sub is put into an enclosure smaller than what I'm planning so I imagine this will fit to my tastes and budget well enough.

What is the point of classic plates? When I was in PA I was going to do it but didn't see the benefit. Still needs to do an inspection every year.. not any cheaper, either. Antique is where it is at! Couple more years for me

I thought they wanted exhaust pics to make sure it is stock (or close to it). My Dad is going to get antique plates on his Comet and since he moved the rear frame rails in 5 inches on each side, shortened the rear end, and has massive rear tires, he is going to take pics with the car on jack stands and the stock wheels just sitting in the wheel wells (photoshop the jack stands out or hide them with the wheels or something).

You bringing this car to NG?

PS About the master buzzer - That would be a nice feature but in my case, already covered with the LCDBC. However, if there is a way to wire in oil temperature/oil pressure that would be awesome. I would love to have aftermarket gauges for those but want my interior fairly stock and don't want to spend money on them/tear apart my dash lol Just buying senders would be cool..
