I thought they wanted exhaust pics to make sure it is stock (or close to it). My Dad is going to get antique plates on his Comet and since he moved the rear frame rails in 5 inches on each side, shortened the rear end, and has massive rear tires, he is going to take pics with the car on jack stands and the stock wheels just sitting in the wheel wells (photoshop the jack stands out or hide them with the wheels or something).

You bringing this car to NG?

PS About the master buzzer - That would be a nice feature but in my case, already covered with the LCDBC. However, if there is a way to wire in oil temperature/oil pressure that would be awesome. I would love to have aftermarket gauges for those but want my interior fairly stock and don't want to spend money on them/tear apart my dash lol Just buying senders would be cool..
    What's the point?

    *no emissions inspection ever again
*tag doesn't need to be renewed ever again
    *cheaper car insurance
    *cheaper registration fees
    *unique looking plates

    ...for starters.

I need to get on the classic plate bandwagon. Been meaning to for a while, as I know mine will not pass emissions lol... hasn't in 10 years haha.

No sniffer test in my county. Just a "visual."

With classic tags you don't need a visual cat. Kind of annoying after going to lengths to put on something that resembled one.

On another note: went over to the garage during lunch to test the lights and discovered the passenger HID is out and the hazard lights don't work. Oddly, the turns do. The hazard switch is plugged in and mechanically functions so I wonder what the issue is there.

Oh, when I looked into it I didn't think it was any cheaper and still needed renewed. I also already skip emissions because my mileage and get cheap insurance for that reason, as well. I just looked up the plate - it does look better IMO. Will look good on black.

Well the hazard lights were an easy fix. Someone installed a 7.5amp fuse in the 10amp slot for the hazard fuse in the engine bay box. Swapped in a good 10amp fuse and they work again.

HIDs turned out to just be a bum bulb. While I can't visually see anything wrong with it, swapping just the bulb from the drivers side worked. They were 9006 6k bulbs origonally and have a slight blue hue to them. Ordered a pair of 5000k bulbs for a more white OEM look.

The kit is from DDM and has the thinnest ballast I've ever seen. Everything about this kit is nice PnP fun setup. It's only the 35w setup too so I imagine the 55w would be blinding.

Just waiting for my tags to get here so I can drive the car on the freeway to test alignment and see how well these poor tires have held up after their vacation.

I'm running the same DDM kit and am very satisfied, however my order took quite some time to arrive. Hopefully you get your new bulbs quickly!

I'm also running that same kit. Thinking about getting them for the fogs as well.

By the way those thin ballasts can be attached to the floor of the headlight buckets with double stick tape and they don't interfere with anything. The wires pretty much tuck down there too.

One side is wired backwards and had to plug in backwards to work..did u check the bulb in the drivers side? Or vice a versa? I didn't have a de pinning tool so I never fixed it correctly...
