N/A Cams VS TT Cams. Benefits from mixing?

I've heard several times that the TT Exhaust cams are different from N/A cams, and what I was wondering is: in what ways were they different? are they more aggressive? or are they more focused on mid range power and the N/A cams are more aggressive and for top end use?

I think a good way to start would be to post all detailed specifications on both sets of cams; if anyone has such information readily available...

also maybe some stock or close to stock dynos of TTs and N/A cars if anyone has some GOOD graphs so we can look at the difference in the power curves of both motors..

I believe I have a book on horsepower that shows in detail on finding specifications on cams and I also have a set of of N/A cams laying around I think so I may look into doing that.

This is for N/A and TT potential performance gains.

    Any legitimate information is welcomed.

So there are no benefits to switching them out on either motors or do we still need some more data?

no benefits without adjustable gears... thats why the engineers put the TT cams in the TT car and the NA cams in the NA car

....... This is exactly why I did not want to start a thread for it, but I thought I would listen anyways.

TT and N/A cams are the same profile.... TT exhaust cams are retarded 2 degrees to INCREASE overlap.

Edit: This statement was proven wrong later in this thread, keep reading...

So if I take a set of N/A exhaust cams and retard them 2 degrees then they will be the same as TT cams??

Yep. but most people looking for the most power are retarding TT exhaust cams 3 more degrees, so you'd have to retard your N/A cams 5 to equal that...

Edit: And again, wrong... if you want this thread to make sense jump to at least post 30 or so....
