    I finally got around to changing my o2 sensor from a month ago, and sadly this did not solve the problem of running very lean.

    I've included a pdf of the log, the relevant trims and 02 start on page 13 and o2 #2 is on page 25. I can make it a .txt or something else if you guys have a hard time reading this.

    I don't know what the problem is, as you can tell from the log both sensors stop functioning, and the rear was working just fine before today. The trims stay the same at .1008.

    The only thing I can think of is that my front o2 sensor, the connector touched the exhaust and it melted the two halves together but I was able to get them apart with what seems to me to be no damage to the connector bits themselves. I couldn't get the front 02 out of the precat even after tons of penetrating oil and a heat gun, so I but a new sensor in the downpipe just after the precat (there was already the bung there for a 2nd gen car). The new connector clicked into the car side connector just fine too.

    got around to installing the evo 399 maf sensor (change the maf size to 357.5 and the maf adder to 140)
    car runs like crap

    plugged my gm 3.5 and maft back in and runs fine (changed maf values back)


    am i missing something??

    Are you sure your MAF adapter harness is wired correctly?

    well as far as i know the a maf is good
    it the adapter harness just a pass thru harness or do the pins move around?

    Just a pass thru.

    If the harness is good (best to double check pins and connectivity) then I'd say you got a bad MAF.

    Try it in a different car. Even with the MAF setting set to stock, the car will still start and idle fairly smoothly.

    Anyone one have an idea about my problem? The only thing I can think of now is the ecu is bad.
