EvoScan is working now that I uninstalled *everything* (didn't realize there were separate uninstalls for each Tactrix driver) and reinstalled... ECUFLash 1.42.2595 then EvoScan 2.6.

This probably would have worked. I tried renaming that file per another post I found on the inter-tubes, and EvoScan regenerated it at program launch. I didn't think to look in the ECUFlash folder but sure enough there is a file by the same name there. Oh well.

Now waiting for a new (different) TPS to get here so I can hopefully address the code P0120 that keeps throwing. I can clear it and it'll stay gone for maybe one or two drive cycles, but it comes back. Car's running OK, MPG a little on the low side.

Also wondering if the factory boost gauge circuit is working properly on my ECU. Might temporarily reload the stock 99vr4 rom (with peripheries set) to see if it runs the boost gauge differently. Just a temporary curiosity since the center gauges are getting replaced.

Hopefully the replacement TPS fixes that issue. The rest is cake

PS: *more incessant clamoring for V2*

The idea was to cut off just enough to wrap around the flange on the maf sensor and double layer it to fit it to the stock bubble. Then I was just going to super glue them to reduce the likelyhood of them being sucked into the turbos.

They hadn't come in yet, so I thought I'd see how the maf fits and if my idea was going to work. To my surprise I was able to clamp down on the 482 maf just fine:

Yes, I know the air filter adapter sucks, it just came with my maf for free, but I'm not using it because it must be meant for a 2G eclipse becase it blocks a good chunk of the maf. I was able to write my modified chromed rom to my ecu on the first try and everything seems to be working because evoscan is logging ok. I haven't run it yet as I'm waiting for the wire pigtail for the maf. The only bad part is I am not going to be able to fit a very big air filter in there.

Thanks a ton Greg, I'm going to send more money when I have some.
quick question. How much shorter is the 482/399 maf than the 3000gt maf?

Yep. My mind is in too many places, especially at work. I see where the confusion comes from.

After V2 maybe I should take a break. I'm turning batty!

No. I doubt anyone would want those maps. They were very very aggressive. I don't run that tune normally.
