I could read the rom and test the flash just fine, just couldn't get the write function to work.

I tried searching but couldn't find much other than wrong processor names in the xml when this happens on people's evo's.

I have a battery tender hooked up to the battery so voltage shouldn't be a problem. I'm using Ecuflash 1.42.2595 and I also tried the 1.43 beta version. Any ideas anyone?

You need to change the memmodel to H8539fa in the XML.

Brett and Adam aren't selling clones with the 7203 processor but there are a few stock boards out there running this CPU. It's rare but they are out there. It's important for guys to note this who aren't buying clones and just cheaping out with the SL or other model ECUs.

The only boards that *should* even have the newer processor are late late model SOHC cars as they're essentially the same as the 2000 Eclipse ECU.

I don't have a switched input for launch control anyway, so you're forced to use it my way.

I tried that before and got an error message of some kind, can't remember what it said. I'm pretty sure the memmodel is correct on my 99 sl ecu.

No Greg, I use MUT witch Tactrix SD log input

MUT00 and 01 values remain at 1,2, or 3 but not more !?

Is a battery tender just a charger that puts out only 12.6 volts? If so that's the problem right there, voltage not high enough. A car charger selected at maximum setting will provide ~15.5 volts. When I flashed my 98 SOHC bench ECU, I successfully flashed chrome 2.0, when I provided 15.5 volts to it.
