Nice updates..hopefully I can say the same real soon.

So I finally got around to copying the periphery setup that aaronastate posted a few pages back, unfortunately the issues I've been having are still there. Immediately the CEL came on and its throwing 2 codes for the MAF and a few more pending codes but some of them are related to the maf still. So now I'm certain that there must be a problem in the harness pinout that's causing the cel to come on. The car barely idles and it runs rich like the maf is unplugged. So next step is to get the harness fixed.

I have noticed something interesting. I have been chasing my trims by adding a little latency trying to get the trims closer to zero and drive ability has actually been getting worse and worse, so I went back to where I was last week and it drives great again, but the trims are pretty high around 10%. There must still be a vacuum leak somewhere.

I just thought it was interesting because having the deadtimes off just a little bit, even on the side of rich made the car drive crappy at part throttle. I did not think that they would effect it so much, but it seems like the deadtimes are very critical to having a smooth tune down low.

What are your MAF settings? These will also change the fuel trims. Plus is good because it means at idle and cruise you are running leaner, and the ECU is trying to add fuel.

they are the stock settings for the evo maf. I'm putting the stock FPR back in tonight or tomorrow so I'm sure that is going to change things, so I'm going to leave things where they are for the moment.

So is an aftermarket FPR supplying more fuel pressure than the ECU can deal with? I guess what I am asking is; are there issues with running an aftermarket FPR and a chromed ECU? Learn me please.

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!
