Again I have a 95 JDM GTO with one o2 sensor reading from the "rear", GTOs also don't have the EGR valve, and only GTOs have the catalytic converter light. These are my current periphs, I remember reading that these cars don't have oxygen heaters - can anyone tell me if theres anything wrong with my perephs?

    (1) I don't know if there's anything that can be done for your catalytic converter light because those are false positive, maybe just disable the light?
    (2) All ECUS before 96 have their O2 heater circuit outside of the ECU, so it is normal to receive a code (heater o2 sensor error). Disable it, bit 11 O2 HEATER CKT.
    (3) Now that you have a 98/99 3000GT ECU equivalent, it is expecting two O2 sensors readings, and your car is only providing one. If you ignore this you will have problems. You should either [A] feed another O2 sensor reading (ie wideband simulated O2 wire), or [B] disable 4 (Closed loop), or [C] experiment with the peripheral options (ie. disable rear o2 sensor functions, etc)

I will try this today, but I'm still concerned about the cat light because 2 of the aus/uk guys with GTOs on this forum did not report having this problem

My mechanic said that in a lot of the cars that they get to work on when they get a "heated O2" code it's oxygen sensor related.

I just tried disabling the rear/front sensors without clearing the code with HHH (because I can't) with no success at all. I will try the same process but with actually clearing the heated o2 sensor code with evoscan this time.

Can't seem to do anything about my flashing cat converter light, this is the best way I can describe it:

at idle it doesn't flash, when I start giving it a little gas it flashes dimly, when I give it 2500-3500rpm worth of gas it flashes very bright then past 3500rpm it stops flashing...

I'm not sure where you got this XML from, but the peripheries are labeled wrong.

Switch bit 2 of periphery 0 off and your car will operate as if it only has 1 sensor.

OK I will try that. Should I not touch the o2 heater circuit bit in periph 2 and the front o2 heater bit in periph 0 eventhough I have a code 11 fault "current" heated o2 sensor

Edit: I just tried this, don't think anything changed except my catalytic converter light seems to flash brighter and more frequently

When I disable bit 2 in periph 0 which o2 sensor am I disabling? (should I disable the front 02 sensor bit too )?

You'll still need to clear any stored codes with EVOScan after flashing.

You're disabling the Front O2 sensor. The ECU will only use the rear for closed loop fuel corrections.

does the ecu use the rear o2's for fuel corrections with all 4 sensors still working?

The ECU has 2 separate trim values for the front and rear. Switching off bit 2 of periphery 0 will make the ECU use the same trim on all 6 injectors based off the rear sensor.

I get the flashing heater light also. Also have CEL so you're not alone. haven't hooked the laptop up in a few months though don't really want to work to much on the old version. Once v2 is publicly released I'll be all guns blazing to get it perfect. I've even considered adding 2 nb02 sensors so I'm not relying on the wb02's output.

i guess i phrased that question badly, so ill try again

does the ecu correct with the sensors before the precats of the ones after the precats?
