hey guys I have a bit of trouble with this and I thought I'd run it by you. The car will start and idle fine with reasonable afr. I turned it around in the driveway tonight though and it will suddenly go smoke screen rich. You can straighten it out and hold it at rpm just fine and it will clean itself up, but then it is like something changes and it goes super rich again. I checked for any obvious boost leaks and do not see any. Any thoughts? I'll try to get it to do it again and get a log sometime.

Do you guys think that the emanage is screwing things up somehow? Maybe the Stage 3 fuel wiring and the fuel injector cel prevention is not happy with the 99 ecu?

Definitely take out any old wiring. I had a customer car where the SAFC screwed with the TPS value. if that doesn work, shoot me a message privately and we will figure it out.

Why did you pay for this info? I've been keepin an eye on a couple of these until I get paid...checkin in makin sure they're available still or been taken down...if you google search under shopping (MD360163, MD347250, MD360162, MD347251) anything and everything will come up, including ebay, just an FYI Most places want a lot for these ECU's though. Another time consuming way to find them is to search on ebay, there's some "stores" or "sellers" who are parting out multiple cars and what not and don't have things listed correctly but have accurate pictures with visible part numbers of what we want...takes FOR-FREAKIN-EVARRR to find them, but there's a couple here n there...

I assume your flashECU is setup for 360cc injectors? Or if your flashECU is setup for larger injectors, then I assume on the emanage you have it zero'd out?

flash is setup for 550s. Emanage is completely zeroed out. I'm removing it, but couldn't get it done last night. I didn't use a boomslang so I have a lot of wires to repair and my soldering gun shorted out. I'm fairly certain it is related to my half assed temporary install of the new ecu. The extension harness you made is long enough that I just have the ecu sitting on the center console. The car was running fine sitting still so I'm probably hitting a loose wire with my leg or something.

Either that or the ecu has a chassis ground it needs to work right that is grounded through the brackets. Either way I'm going to straighten it all out tomorrow and get the wiring completely back to stock.

Yeah its was cheap, I was looking and found some expensive ones but this one was only 200 so the 20 bucks they charged wasn't bad I figured. Plus my wife would be pissed if I was searching for a part for weeks. I just want to get it and put it in the car to learn some stuff before I get my turbos.
