Pretty good week for me. I got back to the gym after my holiday break and with the nice weather we've had this week, I've done 3 bike rides. Haven't been on the scale, so I don't know if there's any change there, but I'll be sure to do a 1 month update on the 16th.

One thing you guys need to realize is, its not always about results on the scale. It's more about results of how you look and feel. I've seen people become discouraged because they busted their ass and only lost 1 lbs during the week, but yet the pants that just barely fit a week ago, need a belt to held up now. Just because you don't necessarily lose weight, doesn't mean you aren't getting results. For some, the best thing you can do, is not even worry about the scale and just continue your work outs.

Exactly. Just to revive this thread, I walked 3.5 miles this morning before I got ready for work. I have been changing my eating habits, but I need to drink more fluids. Diet has changed to portion sized and less sodium. I am going to continue walking 3.5 miles a day for awhile.

I haven't even looked at the scale, the reason being is because I don't want to see progress, I want to just work at it and maintain my routine.

That's a good idea. I would eventually start looking at the scale once per week though. It's when you start measuring daily that you start to get in trouble.

I weighed myself for the first time in a week. Lost 2.5 pounds.

I am hoping this passes, but, I believe I may have a kidney stone... Hopefully not, starting my water intake as we speak...

I thought about it, but I really don't think I am going to do that even. I am just going to work at it and work out until I am happy with my results.

Did that a couple of years ago - just as I was gonna go to the hospital, it passed.

Wouldn't look forward to another one.

It could be constipation, it seems to be relieved when I pass gas, so we will see...
