While the "Cup of Noodles" I eat 2 or 3 days a week has a lot of sodium in it, I don't think that is a contributing factor. Most if it has to do with stress and I am doing something about that. I am looking for a new job.
I think you need to google cup of noodles nutrition facts.

It has zero nutrional value. It is fried noodles in a cup of salt. Stop eating them, substitute for a stir fry sans meat. On sunday before a work week I stir fry a bunch of vegetables in some low sodium soy sauce and canola oil, maybe some chicken. Eat it for 4 days a week for lunch. Its yummmmmy.

Trust me, I realize it has a lot of sodium, but its just about the only sodium I intake, and its only 2 or 3 days a week max that I eat it. I'm getting by on a showstring budget and any money I can save I do. I buy 12 cups of Cup o Noodles for $3.50 and it lasts me a month or more. I can't even make one days worth of stir fry for that price.

    As for what stresses me:

    Money and lack thereof
    Everything about my job
The fact that I can't ever get ahead (that goes back to money)
I really have no real friends in my life anymore. Everyone has gotten married/moved away whatever and I really don't like hanging out with my family.
Never really knowing what the living situation will be, though now I do know that I am moving in two weeks, but this is putting added stress due to more money needing to come out of pocket.

I could probably list 100 things that stress me, and 75 of them will have something to do with money.

I'm sure most of us worry about finances.
I used to think as we got old and the kids grew up it would get better but now we are trying to get things paid off so we can survive if something happened to either Mike or me.

Besides the expense of moving is this something you are looking forward to?
Sometimes different surroundings can be a nice change.

Moving is going to be strange. I'm only moving 7 miles away, but its still going to be weird. I have lived in this house for 18 years straight, 19 years total of my 32.5 years of existance on this earth. Ever since my dad got out of the military in 95 I have lived here. The environment really isn't going to change. I'll actually have less neighbors, which is okay since I am not a people person. Maybe I will meet new people that I actually like, though I don't really talk to any of my neighbors, except one occassionally. There are about 40 houses in what you could call my "neighborhood" and of those 40 houses I have talked to maybe 6 people, excluding the people I went to school with 15 years ago.

I am babbling, but basically I don't know what to expect.

im a little late to this party, and to some i may not be too big, but to me i am getting out of my comfort zone.

im coming in at 198.6 right now, and i plan to get back down to 180 flat. this picture was taken after a jog tonight, and i plan on working my way back up in running to where i can bust out 5 miles with consistent 7 minute miles; i grew up playing soccer. i was tired after mile 1 today and it was a slow mile at that lol.

looking at this and seeing some of the progress you all have made is not only very impressive, but inspiring to boot! keep up the good work everyone!

hopefully i can get ripped again like i once was...

i have a pretty stocky build in general, but i used to work out pretty hard. i usually lose the muscle and consequently the weight when i dont work out, but last time i kept all the size but packed fat on top of it haha. i have never weighed this much before.

i would love to get down to a really lean 170 but i would be ripped like a UFC fighter, and that will never happen lol.

i hope to get at least 10 pounds off in the next few weeks
