    Updates on the datalogging capabiities:

I've tested it on two pieces of software Evoscan and Hand Held Halo (HHH) and both are working great. In fact I have Evoscan and HHH datalogging at 57600 baud (much higher than stock 1953 baud and 15625 baud) so this means passing extra information such as WBO2 and Boost data won't slow down communications. The other good news is WBO2 and Boost can be dataloged very easily which are very important. I looked for some unused PID request codes, and created new ones that now represents both WBO2 and Boost. Both of these software packages are flexibly enough to accept new PID request codes making it easy to log these new items.

At the moment only the OBD1 version of HHH will work. I haven't had tried any other HHH version yet. Why OBD1? Because the datalogging port converts all ECU connections (OBD1, MUT, or MUToverOBD2) into OBD1 style communication at 57600 baud, or 1953 baud (software configurable). OBD1 and MUT are 99% the same so no need to panic unnecessarily. MUT has an annoying handshake that I want to avoid that slows things down at the start of datalogging.

For Evoscan you only need to change the connection style (one click) and adjust the baud rate to 57600 baud and you're done. Data still comes in the same manner as before.

Also, I need to know how many people need a MUT serial cable (for 94-99 cars)? I have six in stock, and ordered ten more.

So we'll have to load the datalogging software of our choice on it?

Do you think it will work fine with the flashable 99 ECUs? And what are you thinking price-wise about those of us who will upgrade?

Adam, Jesters Dread, has the first version in his '99 while doing the flash tune. Everything worked great. Seeing this set up in his car is why I going to buy this. Just a very clean oem looking set up with a lot of functionality.

Any more thoughts about making it AEM compatible?

Nice good to know. I think the combo of black stealths unit and the flashable ecu's will be the way to go now. Way more functionality then stock with a limited investment in money.

Is it possible to upgrade the first batch of controllers with the new features or even buy just the newer version main black box without all the extra parts/wiring?

Hmm I lost my previous message. Okay here I go again.

Yes previous generation hardware will work with the new unit, so you only need a new black box. I will sell them at cost and charge no labor to reward and encourage the early adopters. I have no shipping boxes at the moment to ship them out. Send me a private message if you want to upgrade.

AEM version will follow after the Nissan version.

Datalogging software is not loaded into it. Think of my device as a datalogging cable, it allows you to use HHH or Evoscan. I discovered a software bug during dataloging that I'm investigating now. I hate those kind of surprises. lol.
