Can you make the lcd board adjust the brightness with a lead from the cars dimming circuit?

The new design is able to adjust LED screen brightness, especially useful for night time driving if the screen is too bright. A quick press of the button will dim the screen, push the button again and it will go back to full brightness. If you hold the button down for a longer duration it will toggle the screen colors.

Now that this new hardware can control the intensity of each Red, Green, Blue LED I can create new colors safely by using lower voltages of each of the primary colors. So far I can produce Yellow, light Purple, Cyan Blue, and White. Always nice to get something for nothing.
