Question about the Indy lap. My wife, 4 yo daughter, and mother-in-law are all coming down for the week. I purchased a spectator pass for my wife. It was my understanding I didn't need one for my daughter, and my mother-in-law wasn't planning on being at any of the events.

Can my daughter ride as a passenger during the Indy lap?
Are helmets required for everyone during the Indy lap?
Are non-paying guests permitted to be go to the Brickyard and watch us make our lap?

We're waiting from IMS for answers to the helmet question. I'll stop in there on Monday and find out about the age requirement. I'm also still waiting for the spectator response. It takes A LONG TIME to get responses from them, which is why I plan to just go in on Monday and ask myself.

We have not received final verification from the track that this list is correct. We will send out word if/when we get verification.

I am unclear about the car numbers. Are these required for all events?

Will they be on the each side of the car?
Are they on the sheet metal or the glass?
Are they provided, and if so, cling on, or handwritten?
Or do we bring our own, and if so, what are the size recommendations?

In the past the car numbers are written on the top corner of the windshield, so there is no requirement for magnetic or static cling numbers unless something is different this year (sincerely doubt something will be different). If you are worried though just bring a narrow roll of painters tape so you can make numbers if needed.

Numbers are different this year for anyone that is not racing.

If you are racing you will still need your number written on the car for the race event.

The NG is providing a window cling for the front window. This number will be used by the judges, pace lap entry and for the car show location entry. http://www.3sgto.org/f2/car-numbers-ng-5322.html
