Just to keep this up to date...I'm probably going to try the XYZ Gravel Coilovers...not expecting much so we'll see.

they want 2K AUD for them...working on improving that.
They are 6kg front and 5kg rear
85cm outer diameter (so I can compare them to my Teins and see if I loose any tyre space)
front travel is 170mm rear 125mm
looking at a slightly stronger set of sways...will see how I go down the track (prob a month before I get the shocks)

well, there are no better options for less than 4K.... (proflex etc) and I'm pretty sure I can get these in my hands for 1.5K AUD.

OK, new news. I have found the purrrrfect solution, and it does not involve a Ksport rebadged shock sold as XYZ!!!

Back over in the Ultimate Handling thread it was revealed that Phillip from Supercar Engineering (awesome guy, Awesome shop) has made some plates to hook into the GTO/3K to give you access to EVO coilovers!! so I'm straight off the all the rally shops, and the guys fairly near me (DMS) have a shock made straight for the GTO, AND it's street legal...AND 170mm of travel...AND progressive springs, they are $3.4K....going to order them on friday SO HAPPY.

will let you know how they go, of other news, it seems that there are 2 or 3 other GTO's in australia running them including one in albury NSW....we need to find these people!!!!
