Fuck yeah. Those billet tops look sexy as.
Some observations: these would be more like double the weight of the Teins, I'm going to find it the totals and of course post them (with pictures) everything on these is just amazing, even the strut tops weigh LOTS, notice how they have progressive springs...also no adjustable clevis, so they are ROAD LEGAL YAY. I may have to butcher the lower clevis washer mount system as I MAY need more shock camber than they account for...in theory the total outer diameter of these is actually less than the Teins, time will tell.
edit: they are 7.4 kg each

Hrm. So he is using an adapter sleeve to take up the difference in the bolt sizes on the lower front, and he has that block to convert the EVO clevis to the 3S post mount on the lower rear.Any downsides to using these DG? They were just released last week and adapt our lower strut mount to an Evo strut mount: New Product: SCE 3/S-EVO8 Suspension Adapters
Yeah, that would work. I'm not a huge fan of the bushing on the lower rear - I'd use a bearing - but there's not much room to work with there so maybe the bushing is the only way to make it work.
That looks like an acceptable option, and is better than using junk shocks.
Note though that OTS EVO shocks WILL need to be revalved for the 3S. The odds on an EVO valving being right are close to zero.

bringing this back from the dead and adding some info. Keep us updated MR2 !
These adapters will allow you to bolt on any Mitsubishi EVO-8 or 9 suspension kit onto your AWD 3000GT VR-4 or Stealth R/T TT. EVO is a similar car with a similar weight distribution, and is only a few hundred pounds lither than the 3/S. Any EVO suspension kit with reasonably stiff springs will work fine on the 3/S.
Enjoy running any brand name suspension you like on you 3/S ! ! ! !

Long story short, I bought them, started fitting them & then they got stolen, so I'm saving for some Tein top plates (will allow dialing in more camber/castor) and replacement shocks again (same ones)
<:O Holy crap! $12K for shocks??? are you insane? damn dude... they better come with a lifetime free replacement... lol
