And this is a good external sensor?
And this is a good external sensor?
Here is a 3 bar pressure sensor (GM style), inexpensive and tested to work well with the LCDBC.

The GM 3 bar MAP sensor works great, been using one for years. Mine was a lot more expensive though.
Yes it does.
Ordered thanks!!
Tip: the wire harness or pigtail connector is hard to insert on these Chinese GM 3 BAR pressure sensor. I found it easier to disassemble the harness and insert one pin at a time.
Wire color information:
Red=5V
Green=Signal
Yellow=Ground

(1) Now that I have a 1996 OBD2 ECU on my bench, I tweaked the speed about 20% faster by removing unnecessary delays the OBD2 protocol dictates but the 3/S ECU doesn't require. The Idle Switch request code is different on the 1996 ECU, this is fixed for 1996 DOHC ECU. I don't have the 1996 Turbo ECU ID yet, so those guys will have to suffer until I get the ECU ID from someone.
(2) Complete 3/S CEL table for OBD1 users (91-93), note the MUT Scantool only lists Active/Stored codes. Pending codes were not used in the MUT Scantool, so instead of deleting it, I left it alone.
(3) 94-95 USA CEL request codes were 100% incorrect, that is fixed. I believe 96+ Euro/Jap ECUs that don't use OBD2 codes will also benefit, as they probably just use the same 94-95 USA CEL request codes.
(4) Supports new coolant tables from MUTII scanner, go to config menu and select which coolant sensor your vehicle uses: (91-93), or (94-99).
(5) The rotary knob software routine was re-tweaked, so it is less sensitive to "bounce effect".
(6) Included additional diagnostic tests and fixed some errors.
(7) Uses new Barometer table in inHG or mmHG.
There could be other fixes that I don't recall at the moment. Still to do, use the new intake temp table, ABS functionality.
