And of course Apple has a solution for those wanting to use wired headphones and charge at the same time...a huge $40 dongle! Oh, also need that adapter too. So, headphones to adapter to dongle. Simplicity at its finest!

Bluetooth has never worked well for me for playing music. It's always quiet, flat, and doesn't sound good to me. Popping in the audio cable is instantly double the volume and the bass is back. Bluetooth just only works for voice calls.

It depends a lot on what your setup is. I currently am using skullcandy hesh 2 bluetooth and they sound fine. Not going to win a fidelity contest I am sure, but for enjoying music it works as good as most wired setups.

You need to try the Jam Transit headphones. For $50 it's going to be hard to beat them. I don't notice any difference between when they are wired and when they are BT.

If it doesn't say "Sennheiser", it's not worth your money. But that's just my opinion.

I have a low end set, the HD202's and they are ok.

My setup is connecting phone to car. Aux cable just blows it away so bad it's ridiculous. I literally have to turn up the radio to the max just to hear it decently, and zero bass. Multiple phones, multiple cars, all the same story, just pure shit.

Ford sync seems to sound similar from aux to bluetooth, but in my case it's so convoluted to swap between phone audio and phone music that I just list that as "doesn't have bluetooth audio". I'm sure if I looked up how to actually use the voice command system it might not be as stupid.

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.
