Maybe abit offtopic but anyways, I bought the same 3sx cams as TS, used on ebay but do not know if it's the first version or not(the first version is off a few degrees). Seller didn't know what version it was.

So is there any way to tell what version I've got? without having to do this complicated degreeing thing...

Actually have no desire to advance or retard the cams right now, only use them for weight reduction, but don't want them to be off obviously.

And pics no worky for me neither.

Compare and match each one to a stock gear.

Yeah figured so too. Matching up the holes going to the pin on the cams.

Wasn't sure if I would be able to tell by eye from that if only a few degrees.

Each full tooth is 7.5 degrees, so 1/2 tooth is 3.25 degrees, 1/4 tooth is 1.625 degrees...

With an outer diameter of 4.75", the math says each degree would equal .041". You should be able to see that by eye.

I just finished degreeing my bc 266/272's

    results =
    front exhaust +2.5
    front intake -.5
    rear intake -1
    rear exhaust -1.5

My only concern is the front and rear exhaust being that different from each other, I have double and quadruple checked, same results every rotation.
I am going to try degreeing off cylinders 2 and 3 to see if I get similar results on the exhaust.

It took many many many tries to get the dial indicators set, I have Kiggly beehive springs and the retainers are a lot smaller in diameter than stock. Im 100% sure my readings are accurate because they are consistent every time

This is with fidanza cam gears, so actual 0 on them is really closer to -1 degree, so that makes the correction on the front exhaust cam really be the oddball one of the bunch.
