Not to mention Ohio State scored pretty much every possession in which they didn't have a turnover. That helps a lot.
turnovers don't matter? ok. I'm out.

In the game on Monday, no they did not matter. Just as Tyler said, if the opposing defense slams the door in your face every time, then what use are the turnovers? None, nada, zip, zilch, and exactly zero. And on the flip side, when they didn't turn the ball over, it was pretty much a guaranteed TD.

It doesn't matter who played them on Monday, the result would have been the same(TCU included). OSU proved they are far and away the best team in the Country this year.

A punt is nothing but a "controlled" turnover.

The half time stats were frustrating because they highlighted turnovers but made no mention of punts. I was rooting for Oregon.

There's no way to conclude TCU would've been throttled like UO was. There's also no way to conclude TCU would've beaten FSU to have the chance. OSU was impressive, but the B12 got screwed out of a chance. Ironically, both Urban and Patterson said they thought their teams were 1 year away on selection day

It's all speculation. No one can speak in absolutes on this topic. IMO, there's not a single team in the country that could have went toe to toe with OSU this past Monday. I don't care the score, only the W/L column. That team is much better than anyone *truly* knew until the end of the season.

Disagree that the B12 got screwed. The B12 screwed themselves in several different ways(Baylor's absurd ooc schedule, TCU blowing a 21 point lead in the 4th in Waco, not naming a single champion, and on and on). We all knew this was coming, anyway. 4 seed playoff, 5 power conferences...somebody has to cry.

Do you want to see it moved to a 6 or 8 team playoff? I'd like to see an 8 team set up so long as it somehow continues to force teams to strengthen their OOC schedules like the 4 team set up is doing.

    Hater.

I didn't mind the turn over down in Oregons side of the field. It was like a punt. As long as Oregon wasn't scoring like they did on the first drive.

People were nervous when they let them walk down and score and then we punted. But everyone was breathing easy once they ran 97 yards down the field and then our defense shut them down. I knew it always takes a possession or two for the OSU defense to wake up.

I don't know if TCU could handle our run game or pass game. Boykin is great no doubt but Ole Miss gave up and was horrible and looked like they wanted to go home from the start. I think TCU vs OSU would have produced a very similar result. Our defense is physical and in shape. TCU passing is better(the short pass game) than ours like Oregon's was.

Cardale should bolt though, I don't know how he can generate more hype unless he repeats. He is probably working with some big QB coach doing NFL testing right now to see if he can handle the combine. Urban has a real QB controversy on his hands though if Braxton can actually play football for real.
