Better not to rush it I think
So, before I get myself completely nasty working under the car again removing that shit, I've decided I'm going to get some painters coveralls with a hood, which when coupled with my face shield should provide full protection against this rubbery shit once it gets knocked off (as it is very very ahrd to wash off.) I have even contemplated using aircraft stripper on the under side of the car, I will likely pick some up for the control arms and subframes anyhow.
Suffice to say, I wish that I had a way to get this onto a rotisserie and media blasted. Given how much work this has been, I'm even on the fence about putting down Lizardskin or similar first so that I never have to do this again.
