Something seems wrong. I have never seen a rotor warped that badly. Are you sure the rotor is sitting totally flush to the hub?

Yea, that is flush on the hub. It's a manufacturing defect. Probably a batch that was manufactured badly and got mixed in with the ones that passed QC.
Your 1993 Dodge Stealth is one of 6351 that received VIN numbers. Based on the order of the serial numbers, your car was the 5212nd out of the 6351 that were made that year.
Your car was built in the 3rd week of February 1993. Of the 47380 vehicles made at the Nayoga plant, your car was the 40537th vehicle to be created that year.
There are 281 other cars that were made with both the same interior and exterior color. There are 779 cars with the same exterior color and 2316 cars with the same interior color.
Note: The production order is assigned based on the order of the serial number.

Did you try the old ones to make sure it's not the bearings? I noticed the half shaft isn't in so the bearings can separate. Did you ever put the wheels on and sit the car down to move it? That will mess up the bearings if you don't have the shafts in.

Edit: Might want to put the shaft and nut on and try again to be sure.

My thought last night in chat. Even if it did seperate, it would not wobble like that without feeling it move. He also can see it werbled sitting on the counter.

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!

Not sure I understand what you mean. It can sparate just a bit on one side of the bearing and still feel solid.

I got what you were saying now. That would do it for sure. When mine came apart you could feel it move.

If you set the rotors on a flat surface, the rotors are warped visually. Having the CV axles out should not matter since the bearings have no impact on the hub movement. The rotors have a defect that should not be there. Rock Auto acknowledged that they researched with the manufacturer and the manufacturer says this is a defect on their part and a full refund is in order from Rock Auto as well as a packing slip for all of the powerstop stuff shipped to me.

But they do, if you put pressure on the hub with the axle out it will move and screw up the bearings. So never bolt the wheel on and try and move the car with them out. I know at least 5 people that have messed up bearings by doing that.

That being said if you can see the warpage when it's sitting on a flat surface, that is one f-ed up rotor. That is just incredibly warped, that's why I didn't believe it at first lol.

What type are you going to get now?

Oh I never bolted the wheel on, I wouldn't do that. I only tightened on a few lugs on the hubs to make the rotors flush on the hubs strictly for testing purposes. Plus if you bolt the wheels on and lower the car on the wheels, the suspension is going to cause the body to move and the wheels are going to go straight into the fenders and in my situation where I don't have the fenders on, that would be super dangerous.

I am looking still, I need to get a refund on those rotors and such first before I venture on to a different set. Probably EBC Rotors and Carbotech pads.
