i rented a milan back in may. by far the coolest feature i've seen in any car lately. too bad it didn't work on the instrument gauges too...
There's a thread called "Taste the Rainbow. RBG gauges" or something similar that has color-changing LEDs. Not sure it'd be practical or cheap, though.

Yes huh. Red LEDs are more expensive because they cost more to make. Unless thats changed in the last year. I learned it in my electronics class...Its the hardest to make because of the wavelength.

My wife's Audi has red LED's and I really like it. Plus all of our flashlights in the military were red and I like how it doesn't screw up night vision. The only other color I like is white but I'm not sure how I'd like that when driving at night.
I am just saying that the price for red leds in my kit is the same for blue and others.
