    i rented a milan back in may. by far the coolest feature i've seen in any car lately. too bad it didn't work on the instrument gauges too...

    There's a thread called "Taste the Rainbow. RBG gauges" or something similar that has color-changing LEDs. Not sure it'd be practical or cheap, though.

    calling BS on that one. red is the most common LED color, and it was also the first invented. no way that demand and development have kept it more expensive.

    Maybe for paint but not for LEDs.

    The blue LEDs came in yesterday. I am waiting on the Red LEds that I just placed my order for to come in for my car. So pics are soon to come.

    Yes huh. Red LEDs are more expensive because they cost more to make . Unless thats changed in the last year. I learned it in my electronics class...Its the hardest to make because of the wavelength.

    What's the price difference, $.002

    My wife's Audi has red LED's and I really like it. Plus all of our flashlights in the military were red and I like how it doesn't screw up night vision. The only other color I like is white but I'm not sure how I'd like that when driving at night.

    I am just saying that the price for red leds in my kit is the same for blue and others.
