It's not just the O-line, the whole offense looks to be maybe the worst in the NFL. They've got no decent WR's, no #1 running back, a TE, who's the teams second best offensive player, who's injured... if Rapistburger goes down, they won't be able to score at all unless the defense runs one back.

My brain says 6 wins for Pitt, but i think they manage to go 8-8 somehow.

Disagree that they have no decent wide outs. Emmanuel Sanders and Antonio Brown are both very talented. Wheaton will be good, but he needs at least a year to develop. What they don't have is a true deep threat. The RB position is screwy because they're going all in with Bell & Redman, when they should be leaning on Dwyer. I really don't understand what the decision makers are thinking. Looking forward to the Chiefs whippin dat ass Saturday at 7:30.

Offense starts at the line. Doesn't matter if you have an all-star O, if the line can't block, you ain't going anywhere. Especially center, and Pouncey is regressing.

Steelers just traded for Felix Jones. That should tell you how bad their backs are.

I don't generally watch even a second of any NFL preseason games...

...But I had to watch VY on Friday and Colt tonight.

My thoughts... Colt came in to start the 2nd quarter at the 2 yard line. He converted a couple first downs, but didn't get help from his receivers (2 drops). Then threw a pick to a LB that showed blitz and dropped back... Then floated a duck about 6 feet over the head of a receiver in the flat to end the first half that brought back flash-backs to when he came back too soon from a stinger in 2006.

Stingers are basically the story of his career. It cost Texas a B12 championship (and Colt a trip to the Heisman ceremony) as a RS Freshman in 2006... Then cost him in the 09/10 MNC. In the past, 2 weeks has not been enough recovery time for him to have full arm strength. Here we are 3 weeks after the injury and he looks 'okay'... The deepest passes he threw were about 15 yards past the LOS. They both looked reasonable (one was perfect), but they were both dropped.

They brought him out to start the 2nd half and after a couple nice short passes on bootlegs, back to back holds killed the drive... He got into a little bit of a rhythm in the 3rd quarter and finally led a TD drive. Basically every pass is a dump off into the flats or a quick slant. When the first read wasn't there, he basically always tucked it for minimal gain. He looks like he's lacking confidence in his arm to me.

No idea if he did enough to make the team or not. 11/15 for 109 with a pick... 65.7 rating.

At least I've got VY to be happy for in back-up duties in Green Bay. He showed some of what made him special at Texas with a pair of ~20 yard runs.

The Jets are looking at Lienart, and somebody else. (same as Buffalo) No one has an interest in Colt. (sorry Adam)
