On another note Alabama got straight up outplayed. The mad hatter should have kept his hat on. The loss was on his shoulders. The fake FG was like WTF? The onside kick? They had the momentum! and soccer is the only sport with floppers? lol. and just to stir the pot, i recall tim bosh doing it in the NBA last year in the playoffs.

No one said soccer is the only sport with flopping, but it is the most egregious.

And flopping has been happening in the NBA for awhile, and the NBA is doing something about it by fining or possibly suspending players.

The NHL started calling unsportsmanlike conduct for floppers several years ago too.

i also expect FIFA will be clamping down on it. they've stiff-armed instant-replays about as long as they could. pretty bad goal-line calls have forced a transition to cameras. tancredi trying to give lloyd a cleat-makeover during the olympics (and lady andrade trying to rearrange wambach's face) will almost certainly lead to harsher penalties.

still....there's a world of difference (and excitement) between mens and women's soccer.
