They better get it right this time. They're about broke. 3.98 million deficit for the athletic department this year, and they're going to owe Dooley 5 mil on top of that. Ouch...

Paul, looking back now, do you think firing Fulmer was a bad idea?

    Jeremy
Bad idea to hire Kiffin really. I liked Fulmer but it was sort of his time. Looking back we would have definitely been better with Phil but I don’t think he could have got us another National Championship. We would probably just stayed mediocre and get beat by FL and Bama every year.

Maryland and Rutgers isn't getting you shit for tv sets. And you're now splitting the revenue 14 ways. Maryland has a 50 million dollar problem, as well as being currently flat broke. I guess Kevin Plank will continue to personally finance the athletic department there. LOL.

He just sold 64.5 mil worth of shares, and has been very vocally supportive of the move. 2+2, IMO.

Well basically the idea is that it will get BTN into the DC and NYC TV markets, but I have no idea how much of a market those schools have there. But the more I think about it the more I like it, even if it isn't necessarily going to bring a lot of great competition in football, they are adding two great academic universities.
