Only thing I did to the 3s today was replace the trim piece at the top of the rear window that the squirter mounts on. Mine was pretty faded so I pulled the one off the parts car.

It isn't that hard to time one of these engines if you can read and follow the service manual. Running solid lifters and/or a solid tensioner pulley can prove problematic if you don't know what you're doing. I say take it to someone that has worked on these cars before or ship it to a shop. You've already spent 2-3x more than it would have cost to have Ray do it for you.
Today I swapped out plugs, found out my BOV port on the stock intake bubble shot out my bottle cap I had in there plugging it, ended up recirculating my BOV instead, fixed a few cracked vacuum hoses, and determined that either my 120 mile old Aeromotive Stealth fuel pump is dying on me or the 50 mile old fuel filter is clogged up because I'm definitely not getting the fuel I need. It takes about 5-6 seconds to crank and start it to. It barely wants to run the first 1/2 second.
95 RT/TT Billet TD04s E70, DW1000cc injectors, ARC-2 with 92mm maf, 3SX fuel rail loop, hotwired Walbro 416/485, 3" FMIC, single small Krank vent, DR 3.5" downpipe and cat-back, DNP 02 housings, Hallman Pro MBC, BlackStealth LCDBC, AEM wideband, AEM oil pressure, Apexi S1 coilovers with SCE EVO 8/9 adapters, 3SX adjustable control arms, Spec 3+ clutch, Maximal solids/3SX poly motor mounts, Setrab custom SMOC, stock motor 127k miles, stock drivetrain.
Your filter is most likely clogged. When you put E85 in it cleaned all the shit out of your tank, which all got caught in the filter.

Oh just working on gauge stuff. Got the LED needle ring and LCD panel mounted to the tach tonight. Here's a test shot with one strip of LEDs across the top of the gauge (i.e. uneven backlighting is expected).
