I just drove it around this evening. Round-a-bouts, 2nd, and 3rd gear pulls. I won't be working on it for another week or so since I'm getting ready to move. I'll actually have a garage this time though so I can get quite a few things fixed with a much better work area this time around.

trans is on the ground. I'll start breaking it down tomorrow to replace 1,2,3,4 syncros. It is sure easy working on a car with all good threads and bolts everywhere.

Over the past 3 days. Valve seals, lifters, timing belt, tensioner, pulleys , water pump, cam seals, valve cover gaskets. The ga317 blue point tool works great but the rear head exhaust valves can be tough. Accidently pushed to hard and lost a valve in the cylinder. ended up pulling the rear head. No big deal cause I had the head gaskets on hand. Car fired right up when I was done. Ready for the roadtrip to the NG now.

thanks, I have lots of a spare trans parts. I *should* not need anything else. Only thing I'm really looking for is a viper or victory hood and maybe a stealth hatch in good shape.
