as far as I think if your intercooler and intake piping fits then leave the battery in the stock location. you can always go to a slightly smaller normal car battery and it will still perform well if the car sits. I max out our trunk space on trips and need every bit of space.

Speaking of intercooler, that is one thing the battery has been good for up front, it holds the IC pipe to the TB. lol It's not blowing off there.

Another issue with a battery in trunk is if you go to the track. You will need proof of a certified box for it and an external shut off for it.

And in the factory location, the weight is where it needs to be at the track... Over the front axles.

Mine is in the bay and won't move until it HAS to.

I commented a while back about the open meth tank in the car, I vented mine outside. Methanol has a cumulative effect, once it`s in your body it stays there..

I`ve had no bother with my battery in boot, 0 Gauge wiring ANL 150 amp fues and twin earths in the boot. Just fitted a Scanmaster 3 and it was showing batter voltage of 14.2v at idle so all`s good!.

I used the stock battery in a sealed battery box.
