Yeah but makes the trunk messier. Maybe people can post their relocated batteries to convince me.

That is true. I don't have any pics of mines but tomorrow I can post some. Hey I noticed your car was in the video.for the jackhammer dual pump hanger. If you have the shorter hotwire harness it's easy cause everything is right there ya now.

Yep that was mine. It's more the heavy cable runs that I'm concerned about.

I love my small deka battery mounted where stock windshield washer reservoir should be. Dropped ~30lbs, lowered the weight, and dramatically cleaned up the engine bay. No extra wiring. Obviously, not a good idea if you have a big stereo. If car sits more than a week or two, a battery tender is probably a good idea as well. Otherwise, it starts the car without fuss.



You could probably mount a full size battery down there also. BTW, I ran a line from rear washer reservoir to front washer nozzles. Haven't actually tried it yet to see if pump has enough to get the fluid to front

I don't know...moving the battery makes sense if you need the room for bigger turbos. Other than that, it is basically cosmetic.

Yeah, I don't know. Another argument for is that it makes working in the bay easier (especially cleaning the fuel filter, which needs to be done regularly with e85).

That's nice and clean, I can't really do the small battery thing though. My car is still a near-DD, I leave it at the airport sometimes, etc.
